Technical Architect, Dynamics 365 CE
We are growing our Bangkok team and looking for a technical architect who wants to own the technical design behind Dynamics 365 solutions for enterprise clients in Europe.
About us
Cartagena is a specialist consultancy built around Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and the Power Platform. We help organisations in Norway and internationally develop sales, customer service and marketing through better work processes and connected CRM solutions.
Our ambition is to become the leading CRM vendor in the Norwegian enterprise market, with CRM and AI as our core disciplines. We are building on our CRM expertise with an investment in AI that gives clients better decision support, more efficient follow-up and less manual work.
We work with organisations that have complex processes and system landscapes, where CRM has to work with the rest of the business. We connect Dynamics 365 CE with portals, CPQ, Microsoft Fabric and ERP. We also develop our own products, including Cartagena Link, a standardised integration platform between Dynamics 365 Sales and ERP.
Our clients include membership and interest organisations and companies in automotive, shipping and logistics, industry, trade and forestry. In shipping we have particular depth in RoRo.
We are around 25 people, with 15 in Norway across Oslo and Bergen, a wholly owned development team in Thailand and a partner team in Mumbai. That gives us a combination of local client contact and international development capacity.
About the role
Our solution architects in Norway own the client dialogue and the overall design. You take that design and turn it into the technical solution: data model, plug-ins, integrations, Azure services and how it all is built, tested and deployed.
You set technical direction for the developers in Bangkok, review their work and are the person they go to when something is hard. Much of the integration work runs on Cartagena Link, our own integration platform.
You work closely with our tech lead in Bangkok and with the architects in Norway. Working language with Norway is English.
What we are looking for
- at least 5 years with Dynamics 365 CE and Dataverse, including plug-ins and C#/.NET
- has owned the technical design in at least one larger D365 project
- experience with integrations between CRM and other systems, preferably on Azure
- comfortable reviewing code and guiding other developers
- professional English, spoken and written
Strong plus
- PL-400 or PL-600
- Azure DevOps, ALM and CI/CD for Power Platform
- experience from vendor-side delivery to paying clients
- experience working with distributed teams across time zones
